Purifi The (4ch) Build

To build 4ch unit with a customised case from Modushop.

Lights are on!

Decided to go for v2 of the Neurochrome start-up board. Changes include much reduced size due to the microcontroller, no fuse (IEC has two) & controllable brightness for the LED’s in the front panel switch. Will be turning it on/off with the 12v trigger from the AVR.

Lights are on. Cables braided. Heat shrink is shrunk. Just need to get the lid on.

All done.

Application Note: The PSU used here is a Hypex SMPS3kA400 2 x 65 VDC 3000 Watt Switch Mode Power Supply, which does not feature the 2-quadrant operation that others in the range do. Half bridge modules like the Eigentakt module that are providing frequency range below 100Hz need a workaround of reversing phase for half of the modules. (i.e. swapping the input +/- of the input buffer and then swapping the speaker output on two of the modules – not shown in the above images)
